An underwater bioscan was undertaken as joint project between Museum Victoria, Parks Victoria and Deakin University. Teams of divers completed more than 20 dives and teams from Deakin University lowered baited cameras in order to record and monitor the health and extent of marine life within the Twelve Apostles Marine National park and The Arches Marine Sanctuary. The report from the Twelve Apostles Bioscan (also know as the Port Campbell Bioscan) will be published later in the year.
